Objectives and expected results

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen and promote cross-border cooperation between the two art institutions in order to foster the development of cross-border regions through the use of cultural and natural resources of Vojvodina, Slavonia and Baranja since the project combines artistic and environmental aspect.

Specific objective of the project is the exchange of experiences between the two academies through the implementation of joint workshops and training in the field of art (land art) and ecology, as well as the creation of a network of public institutions, local governments and civil society organizations from two adjacent regions.

The main results of the project will be the realization of land art works along the bicycle route “Pannonian Peace Trail”, which extends from Osijek to Subotica, as well as in the municipalities of Apatin and Bac during the two-week art workshop in nature, which will be held in Serbia and Croatia. Marking locations in which to set up land art works will raise the level of visibility of the sites themselves and attract attention of local residents and tourists. These works of art represent an added value to the existing tourist and cultural offer of involved municipalities and will be inserted in regional cyclotourist map.
