AT THE END OF THE PANNONIAN ART PATH

Final events in Croatia and Serbia took place
24.06.2014 / 01.07.2014.

Starting with the press conference, and continuing with the performance of students from Osijek in front of gathered students and professors from the Academy of Arts in Osijek and in Novi Sad, 24. June 2014. we marked the ending of the project "Pannonian Art Path" in Croatia. Already well-known invitees had the opportunity to once again visit the places where straw bycicles and other students' land art installations made of natural materials had been placed in Baranja, and afterwards to get on boat for a drive through waters of Kopački Rit and finally get to the "Pump" where they enjoyed students' art performance, , solemnly celebrating the successful completion of the joint project.
A week later, 1. July, completion of the project has been celebrated in Serbia. At the final event in Bac we inaugurated a land art installation in the presence of the President of the Municipality of Bac and representatives of the Department for the construction of Bac, Regional Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments and the Foundation "Centuries Bac".

After a delicious snack in ethno house "Dida's house", students and professors went to Apatin to the abandoned factory for the processing of fresh water fish "Ribocentar" for the opening of the exhibition of students' works created during the project and in situ which was inaugurated by the President of the Municipality, and attended by representatives of the Cultural Center Apatin and numerous inhabitants of Apatin. By symbolic fish snack and electronic music that was coming from the abandoned factory, turned into a fascinating gallery space for this occasion, we came to the end of the Pannonian Art Path even on this side of the border.. Instead of the final dot, , hence, we have put three, because even though the project is completed, the Path has not yet finished.
