MEDIA INVITATION TO A PRESS CONFERENCE
TO MARK THE BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT "PANNONIAN PUT ART – EMPOWERMENT OF COOPERATION AND NETWORKING higher education institutions in the ARTS AND ECOLOGY "

(The Pannonian Art Path – strengthening cooperation and networking of higher education institutions in the field of art and ecology)

We invite you to a press conference which will be held on Thursday 20. June 2013. starting at 12 classes in the Multimedia Centre of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, st. Dure Jaksic 7, on the occasion of the beginning of the "Pannonian time art - empowerment and networking of higher education institutions in the field of art and ecology," which is being financed by the European Union through the IPA CBC Croatia - Serbia 2007 – 2013.

The project implemented by the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and the Academy of Arts in Osijek, together with partners, the Regional Agency for SME Development "Alma Mons" from Novi Sad, Association Green Osijek, Osijek and associated partners of the Municipality, in Serbia, Herbs and municipalities and Princes Vineyards in Croatia. The project started 15. May 2013. year and will continue 15 months. The total amount of the grant by the European Union approved the "Pannonian way of art" is 117.374,28 euros, of which the value of the project at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad is 58.646,77 evra. The project is, the Serbian side, received the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Science and Technological Development in the amount of 410.000,00 RSD and the same amount also for the year 2014.

The project aims to empower and improving existing cooperation between the two artistic institutions in order to encourage the development of cross-border region through the use of cultural and natural potentials of Vojvodina, Slavonia and Baranja since the project combines artistic and environmental aspect. Project activities will be conducted in the area of ​​the Municipality and the Province Bac, Herbs and Princes Vineyards in Baranja, The main results of the project will set up a land art installation along the bicycle path “Pannonian Peace Trail”, which extends from Osijek to Subotica, and in the area of ​​the Municipality and Bac. Marking locations in which to set up a land art installation will raise the level of visibility of the site themselves and attract attention to local residents and tourists.

Robert Raponja, Vice-Dean for International Relations and Project Coordinator of the Art Academy in Osijek, doc. Vladimir Frelih, Head of Visual Art Department at the Art Academy in Osijek and Todd Pecotić, mate representative of the Green Osijek.
